Chennai Brother and Sister (Anish&Jaanvi) got it Bala Yogi Awards -2025

The city of Chennai witnessed a historic celebration on August 24th at Decathlon, Nolambur, as the Tamil Nadu Yoga Festival – 2025 turned into one of the grandest yoga gatherings of the year. Organized by the Global Book of Yoga Records and the Global School of Yoga, in association with the Indian Yoga Association and the Universal Yoga Club, the event drew participants and yoga enthusiasts from across the country and abroad.
This year’s highlight was the recognition of young achievers, with siblings Anish and Jaanvi from Chennai being conferred with the prestigious Bala Yogi Award for Kids – 2025. Their remarkable journey in yoga has already earned them Guinness World Records, International Records, National Records, and World Records, making them true torchbearers of discipline, strength, and dedication at a very young age.
The 12th Tamil Nadu Yoga Festival, themed “Honoring Excellence in Yoga, Inspiring Strength, Balance, Peace, and a Spirit of Dedication,” showcased breathtaking performances, workshops, and record-setting demonstrations. Anish and Jaanvi’s award was seen as a proud moment not only for their family but also for the yoga fraternity of Tamil Nadu.
A Grand Celebration of Yoga
The festival concluded with a Yoga Awards Ceremony held between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., where distinguished guests and celebrities honored the winners. Centum scorers in the Yoga Grade Examinations were felicitated with gold medals and certificates, while special awards were presented to individuals who made outstanding contributions to the field of yoga.
The evening was a blend of tradition and modern recognition, underlining the global relevance of yoga. “The Bala Yogi Award recognizes the spirit of dedication and inspiration in young practitioners. Anish and Jaanvi have already set benchmarks with their discipline and world records, making them ideal ambassadors of yoga for the next generation,” said one of the organizers.

The event also highlighted the contributions of Austere Guru Ganesh Kumar P., Founder of the Global School of Yoga, whose vision has shaped the festival into an international platform for yogic excellence.
