I, Nobody releases on JioHotstar today, Prithviraj’s thriller streams now

Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy Thiruvothu’s Malayalam heist thriller ‘I, Nobody’ premieres on JioHotstar today.

The film is directed by Nissam Basheer and marks the latest streaming release for the two lead actors.

The story follows Rajeevan, an ordinary government clerk played by Prithviraj, whose life changes suddenly when he becomes entangled in a Rs 17-crore bank robbery.

The film will be available primarily in Malayalam, with audio or subtitle options in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi for viewers on JioHotstar.

I, Nobody had its theatrical release on July 9, 2026, but had a modest run at the box office, collecting around Rs 15 crore worldwide.

Despite the muted theatrical numbers, reviews at the time praised the film as an engaging, edge-of-the-seat thriller, with Prithviraj’s performance and the film’s fight choreography singled out for particular praise.

Parvathy Thiruvothu plays a key role opposite Prithviraj, continuing a notable on-screen pairing between the two Malayalam cinema stars.

The film’s move to a digital premiere just over six weeks after its theatrical run reflects a common pattern for mid-sized regional releases seeking a wider audience through streaming after a limited theatrical window.

Nissam Basheer’s direction has been noted for pacing the heist elements of the story alongside the more personal stakes facing Rajeevan’s character throughout the film.

JioHotstar has increasingly become a landing spot for recently released Malayalam titles seeking wider distribution beyond their home state audience.
