Realme P4s 5G India launch date confirmed as August 26
Realme has confirmed the P4s 5G will launch in India on August 26 at 12 PM IST, with a 144Hz OLED display, 8,000mAh battery and MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset.
Realme has confirmed that the P4s 5G will launch in India on August 26, 2026, at 12 PM IST.
The company has not officially announced pricing yet, though the phone is widely expected to be priced under Rs 40,000, with some estimates pointing closer to Rs 29,999.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset paired with a dedicated HyperVision+ AI chip.
It features a Samsung M14 1.5K LTPS OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 1,272 x 2,772 pixels, and peak brightness of up to 6,500 nits.
The battery is rated at 8,000mAh with support for 80W fast charging, among the larger capacities in its price segment.
On the camera front, the P4s 5G carries a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS alongside an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens.
The device carries IP69, IP68 and IP66 ratings for dust and water resistance, a combination not commonly seen at this price point.
Teasers ahead of launch have shown the phone in green and beige-brown colour options, running Android 16 out of the box with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage in its base configuration.
The P4s 5G is expected to be available through Flipkart, following Realme’s typical distribution pattern for its P-series devices in the Indian market.
The launch adds to a busy August 2026 for Indian smartphone releases, with several brands including Redmi, Vivo and Google having already launched competing devices earlier in the month.

Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G launches in India, priced around Rs 14,999
Lava has launched the Virat V1 Pro 5G in India today, priced at around Rs 14,999, with a 50MP camera and 120Hz display, exclusively on Flipkart.
Lava has launched the Virat V1 Pro 5G in India today, with the phone going on sale exclusively through Flipkart.
The device carries an expected retail price of around Rs 14,999, though Lava had not formally confirmed the price at the time of launch.
The Virat V1 Pro 5G features a 6.75-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by a Unisoc T8200 processor.
The phone is offered with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable further via a microSD card.
On the camera front, it carries a 50-megapixel main rear sensor paired with an auxiliary AI lens for the dual-camera setup.
The phone runs a near-stock version of Android 16 out of the box, with Lava saying it has kept pre-installed third-party apps to a minimum.
Lava has positioned the Virat V1 Pro 5G as a budget-segment offering, competing primarily on camera specifications and display refresh rate against other sub-Rs 15,000 5G phones launched this year.
The Unisoc T8200 processor powering the device is an octa-core chipset commonly used in budget and mid-range 5G smartphones sold in the Indian market.
Lava is one of the few Indian-origin smartphone brands still manufacturing devices domestically, competing in a market largely dominated by Chinese and South Korean manufacturers.
The phone runs a near-stock version of Android 16 out of the box, with Lava saying it has kept pre-installed third-party apps to a minimum.
Connectivity options include dual SIM 5G support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for unlocking, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, a feature increasingly rare on phones in this price segment.
The 5,000mAh battery supports 18W wired charging over USB Type-C, and the device also carries basic splash protection against accidental water exposure.
August has been a packed month for smartphone launches in India, with the Google Pixel 11 series and Redmi Note 17 series both carrying confirmed dates alongside new arrivals from Vivo, Samsung, Poco and Infinix.

Yamaha R2 bookings open in India ahead of August 27 launch date
Yamaha has opened pre-bookings for its upcoming R2 sports bike in India at Rs 10,000, ahead of its official launch scheduled for August 27.
Yamaha has opened pre-bookings for its upcoming R2 sports bike in India, with the motorcycle’s official launch scheduled for August 27.
Bookings are open on Yamaha India’s website for a refundable amount of Rs 10,000, which will be adjusted against the final price if the customer proceeds with the purchase.
Customers who book the R2 ahead of launch are being offered priority delivery once the bike goes on sale.
The R2 is expected to slot in as a new entry point into Yamaha’s fully-faired performance motorcycle range, sitting alongside the existing R15 rather than replacing it.
The bike is expected to be powered by a 200cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine based on the R15 platform, with a 6-speed gearbox and VVA valve technology.
Yamaha has not officially confirmed final specifications or pricing, with full details expected to be revealed at the August 27 launch event.
The bike is expected to become Yamaha’s new entry point into its fully-faired performance motorcycle family, positioned alongside the existing R15 rather than replacing it.
With an expected price of around Rs 2.15 lakh ex-showroom, the R2 is positioned to undercut rivals like the KTM RC 200 while competing with bikes such as the Hero Karizma XMR and Bajaj Pulsar RS200.
The first 100 customers to book the R2 are reportedly being offered a chance to meet Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP riders as part of the pre-launch promotion.
The R2 is expected to get a 200cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine based on the R15 platform, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and VVA valve technology.
Hardware on the bike is expected to include a Deltabox frame, an inverted fork, a linked monoshock, 17-inch wheels, dual-channel ABS and switchable traction control.
Features are expected to include a TFT console with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and a ride-by-wire throttle system.
