Gauri Shankar Social Foundation Joins Hands for Heritage Cleanliness Drive at Mehrauli Archaeological Park, Reinforcing Commitment to Civic Responsibility

Continuing its commitment towards environmental conservation and community service, Gauri Shankar Social Foundation actively participated in the Heritage Cleanliness Drive organised at Mehrauli Archaeological Park, New Delhi, on Sunday, July 26. The initiative was organised by Inkpot and Parvaah under the impactful #NoLitterLegacy campaign, with Gauri Shankar Social Foundation invited as a collaborating social organisation to strengthen the mission of preserving India’s historical heritage.
The cleanliness drive witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 70 volunteers, who came together with a shared purpose of protecting one of Delhi’s most significant archaeological sites while promoting responsible civic behaviour and environmental awareness.
Among the key contributors to the initiative was Gauri Shankar Social Foundation, whose dedicated volunteer team actively worked alongside fellow participants throughout the campaign. The foundation’s involvement reflected its ongoing efforts to support initiatives that create meaningful social impact through collaboration, volunteerism, and public participation.
The participation of the foundation was led by Ujjwal Baluja, Founder of Gauri Shankar Social Foundation, who has consistently championed causes related to environmental sustainability, youth empowerment, and community welfare.
