From Mobile Apps to AI: The Technology Trends Shaping the Next Generation of Businesses
Byline/Company Profile: GB Development Services | Founder: Gopal Bhardwaj
The technology landscape for businesses is changing faster than ever. Mobile applications, cloud-based platforms, automation and artificial intelligence are moving from being specialised technologies to becoming everyday business tools.
For entrepreneurs and growing companies, this creates new opportunities to improve operations and reach customers digitally.
GB Development Services, founded by Gopal Bhardwaj, operates in this space, developing mobile applications, websites, software solutions and digital products for businesses and startups.
Mobile applications remain a major digital channel
Smartphones have become central to how people access services.
A business application can bring together product information, customer accounts, payments, notifications, bookings and support.
GB Development Services develops Android and iOS applications and works on the supporting backend infrastructure required to operate them.
Using technologies such as Flutter, the company can develop cross-platform applications while also connecting them with databases, APIs and other services.
Businesses are adopting custom software
Another important trend is the move towards customised software.
Businesses often discover that their requirements do not fit perfectly into a standard software package.
A custom platform can be developed around a particular workflow, allowing companies to manage processes in a way that matches their operations.
GB Development Services works on such requirements across different types of businesses.
AI is becoming part of everyday software
Artificial intelligence is perhaps the most significant change taking place in the software industry.
AI can now be integrated into applications for customer assistance, content workflows, document processing, search, recommendations and automation.
The important question for businesses, however, is not simply whether they can use AI, but whether AI can solve a meaningful problem.
This practical approach is becoming increasingly important as companies evaluate new AI tools.
The importance of a complete digital ecosystem
A business’s technology ecosystem can include its website, mobile application, backend, social media presence, digital marketing and customer communication systems.
If these elements are disconnected, customers may experience an inconsistent journey.
GB Development Services combines technology development with digital marketing and creative services to help businesses approach their digital presence more holistically.
What comes next
The next generation of business software is likely to combine traditional application development with AI, automation and increasingly connected digital services.
For startups, this can create opportunities to launch products that would previously have required much larger technical teams.
For established businesses, it can provide new ways to improve efficiency and customer experience.
GB Development Services continues to work in this evolving environment with a focus on practical digital products and business-focused technology.

Book Review | The Fifth Biopsy by Rohit Agarwal
Rohit Agarwal’s The Fifth Biopsy is a medical thriller that begins with an unsettling contradiction: Dr. Arjun Mehra’s sister Ananya dies of advanced lung cancer, yet four independent biopsy reports had declared her healthy. For a doctor trained to trust evidence, the discrepancy is not merely suspicious, it is personal. What follows is a dangerous search for an answer buried beneath hospital records, erased identities and a conspiracy that reaches far beyond medicine.
The novel establishes its atmosphere effectively from its opening pages. The cremation ground, the monsoon-darkened Delhi sky and the mysterious woman who gives Arjun forty-eight hours to choose between truth and survival create an immediate sense of menace. The discovery of the vanished Patient 5824, manipulated pathology reports and an apparently impossible hospital record give the investigation a compelling central mystery.
Author’s strongest narrative device is escalation. Each answer generates another question: a missing patient becomes an erased employee; an apparently routine death points towards deliberate murder; and the elusive “Fifth Biopsy” gradually emerges as something far more consequential than its name suggests. Journalist Maya Sen and cybersecurity expert Karan Malhotra add complementary perspectives, while Inspector Kabir Rana brings the investigation into organised power and institutional secrecy.
At the heart of the thriller lies a larger ethical question. Project Astra begins as an attempt to understand an extraordinary biological phenomenon involving a patient whose metastatic cancer inexplicably disappears. But scientific discovery becomes entangled with funding, ownership, secrecy and control. The novel’s most disturbing idea is that people possessing potentially transformative biology can cease to be regarded as patients and instead become “assets” to powerful institutions.
The book is at its best when it combines scientific mystery with human stakes, particularly Arjun’s grief and determination to uncover what happened to his sister. Its cinematic settings, short chapters and cliffhangers make it an accessible page-turner.
The Fifth Biopsy ultimately asks whether knowledge can remain a force for healing once institutions begin treating discovery as property. It is an ambitious thriller about medicine, power and the dangerous price of uncovering the truth.

Ledolam: The Forgotten Road — A Powerful Journey Through History, Humanity and Hope
Some roads are built with stone and steel. Others are built with sacrifice, courage, and countless untold stories. Ledolam: The Forgotten Road by Juri Borah Borgohain, translated into English by Bipul Deuri, is one such remarkable novel that revives a forgotten chapter of World War II and transforms it into an unforgettable human story.
Set against the monumental construction of the historic Ledo (Stilwell) Road, the novel transports readers to the dense forests of Assam during the Second World War, where soldiers, labourers, refugees, and local communities become part of one of history’s most challenging engineering feats. Yet, this is far more than a historical account. At its heart lies the deeply moving journey of George, an African-American soldier whose dreams of dignity and equality are continually challenged by racial discrimination, the brutality of war, and the burden of survival.
The author masterfully blends historical accuracy with emotional storytelling. The narrative explores themes of resilience, identity, love, sacrifice, colonialism, and cultural encounters while shedding light on the immense human cost behind the creation of the road that once connected India to China. Through vivid descriptions and compelling characters, readers witness not only the physical hardships of wartime but also the emotional struggles of people whose stories have long remained absent from mainstream history.
The English translation by Bipul Deuri deserves special recognition for preserving the spirit and cultural richness of the original Assamese work, making this significant literary contribution accessible to a wider audience. The translation retains the emotional depth and historical authenticity that define the novel.
Ledolam: The Forgotten Road is an important addition to contemporary Indian historical fiction. It not only revisits a forgotten theatre of World War II but also honours the countless unnamed individuals whose courage shaped history without ever finding a place in its headlines. Rich in research, emotionally resonant, and socially relevant, this novel is an essential read for lovers of historical fiction, military history, and literature that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit.

Navratri 2026 with AI: Solo Saathi Circle Launches India’s First Live-Event Grouping Platform integrated with AI
India’s First ever Garba Grouping Platform for Everyone, Whether You Come Alone or With Family
A live-event group-creating platform that mixes festive fun with easy networking, placing each dancer in a circle that matches their Garba skill level. Not another dating site but a networking site for all.
Instagram: @solosaathicircle · Website: solosaathicircle.com
The Core Concept: A Circle – Not a Date or Partner find
Navratri is about dancing together, but not everyone gets to. Some people come alone and end up watching from the side. Others come with friends or family, only to find they don’t dance at the same level: one wants fast, advanced steps while another is still learning the basics.
- Beginner: Garba Enthusiasts— but still learning the basics
- Intermediate: Garba Paglu— and steady on their feet
- Pro: Garba is Life — with complex, advanced steps
Solo Saathi Circle fixes the floor by forming small, curated dance circles at Garba venues so everyone finds their rhythm. It is about joining a circle: a small group of people enjoying the night together at their own speed. It mixes the fun of Garba with the easy feel of networking. You meet new people, dance, and have a good time.
What is it?
- Not a Dating App: Built purely for group networking and festive connection.
- Not another Rent a Partner: Built purely for group networking and festive connection.
- Vibe & Skill Matching: Beginners grouped with beginners; Pro Garba Dancers grouped with Pros & Intermediate has the option to be grouped with both
- Women-Only Circles too: Women can choose a women-only circle.
Their features are so seamless, you can also search for the venue nearest to your location. Circles are formed only with people who hold a pass for the same venue, so everyone in your circle is there for the same night.
How It Works: Seamless, Safe & Flexible
You can either book Live at the Venue or Book in Advance.
- Pick Your Spot: Choose your date and venue of your Valid pass and Register. Missing a venue? Simply add it on the platform.
- In-App Group Chat: Coordinate and chat with your assigned circle without revealing your phone number or personal details.
- On-Ground Icebreakers: During registration, any member can choose to be Captains of their Circles to help get the group moving together.
- Upcoming Features: Group bookings and non-pass city-level grouping are launching in the coming days.
Connect. Dance. Disconnect.
Put the phone away, step onto the floor, and enjoy the night. Solo Saathi Circle is kicking off across 20+ cities and 100+ venues, with plans to expand to major festivals and live events across India soon.
- Attendees: Groups are forming now—register early so you don’t miss out on your circle!
- Organizers & Partners: Venue owners can reach out to bring Solo Saathi Circle Physically, at their location. Influencers and brands are invited to get in touch for sponsorships and collaborations.
