Founder of Asstro-Epic recognised for guidance in Vedic astrology, numerology, Lal Kitab remedies, Vastu and affordable gemstone consultancy

Ponda, Goa — In a moment of recognition for the state’s growing community of spiritual practitioners, Acharya Chetan Shet Pednekar, founder of Asstro-Epic and based in Ponda, Goa, has been conferred with the Bharat Visionary Icon Award, an honour instituted by the Jivran Foundation. The certificate, dated 2 September 2026, credits him as a “Goan Astrologer, Vastu Consultant, Numerologist and Spiritual Guide” for his sustained contribution to astrology, Vastu, numerology and spiritual counselling across India and abroad. Known widely by his tagline “Your Own Local Goan Astrologer,” he continues to serve clients from his base in Ponda while also reaching a growing client base online.

The award adds to a growing profile for Acharya Chetan Shet Pednekar, who has built Asstro-Epic into a full-service platform for Vedic astrology and allied sciences, blending traditional knowledge systems with a client-first, accessible approach to consultation.

Who Is Acharya Chetan Shet Pednekar?

Acharya Chetan Shet Pednekar is a Vedic astrologer and spiritual guide who has spent years studying and practising the ancient sciences of astrology, Nadi astrology, numerology, Lal Kitab, Vastu Shastra and gemology. He positions his work around a simple philosophy, summed up in his own words: his aim is not merely to forecast what lies ahead, but to help people move toward a stronger and more fulfilling future.

Over the years, he has guided thousands of clients across India and internationally, using kundali (birth chart) analysis, name correction through numerology, and time-tested Lal Kitab remedies to help people navigate career decisions, relationship compatibility, health concerns and financial planning.

Asstro-Epic: A One-Stop Platform for Astrology and Vastu

Under the banner “Guidance, Insight, Empowerment,” Asstro-Epic has positioned itself as a comprehensive destination for people seeking astrological and spiritual solutions. The platform’s tagline, “Your Trust, Our Guidance, Your Better Tomorrow,” reflects its emphasis on personalised, practical advice rather than generic predictions.

The services offered through Asstro-Epic include:

  • Vedic Astrology & Kundali Analysis — detailed birth-chart readings for career, marriage, health and life-path guidance
  • Numerology & Name Correction — number-based analysis and name adjustments believed to align personal energy with success
  • Lal Kitab Remedies — simple, practical remedies drawn from the Lal Kitab tradition
  • Vastu Consultation (Online & In-Person) — guidance for homes, offices and commercial spaces to improve energy flow and prosperity
  • Gemstone Consultation — expert recommendations on gemstones suited to an individual’s chart
  • Kundali Matching — compatibility analysis for marriage and partnerships

Affordable Gemstone Consultancy a Key Highlight

A standout feature of Asstro-Epic’s offering is its role as a gemstone consultant and provider at affordable rates. Gemstone recommendations are often seen as an expensive and confusing part of astrological remedies, but Acharya Chetan Shet Pednekar’s approach focuses on making authentic, chart-based gemstone guidance accessible to a wider audience. Clients are guided on which gemstones may suit their birth chart, how to source them reliably, and how to wear them correctly — all without the inflated pricing often associated with gemstone sales in the astrology space. This affordability-first approach has been cited as one of the reasons behind the platform’s strong client base and its 4.9-star Google rating.

A Growing Digital and Social Presence

Asstro-Epic has also built a notable online presence, allowing clients from across India and abroad to access consultations remotely. The brand’s official website, www.asstroepic.in, offers details on services, consultation booking and contact information, while its Instagram page shares astrology insights, client testimonials and updates on Acharya Chetan Shet Pednekar’s work.

For Acharya Chetan Shet Pednekar, the recognition arrives amid a broader resurgence of interest in Vedic astrology, numerology and Vastu Shastra in India, as more people turn to traditional knowledge systems alongside modern lifestyles for clarity on career, relationships and wellbeing.

Speaking about his approach to astrology and spiritual guidance, Acharya Chetan Shet Pednekar has consistently emphasised empowerment over dependency — encouraging clients to use astrological insight as a tool for better decision-making rather than a fixed prediction of fate. This client-centred philosophy, combined with his multi-disciplinary training across astrology, numerology, Lal Kitab and Vastu, is often cited by clients as a key reason for Asstro-Epic’s strong word-of-mouth reputation, both in Goa and among the wider Indian diaspora seeking guidance from a distance.

Review of Parchhaiyon Ke Log by Vineet Kumar Mishra

Review of Parchhaiyon Ke Log by Vineet Kumar Mishra

Vineet Kumar Mishra’s Parchhaiyon Ke Log is a collection of six stories that looks closely at the lives people often pass without noticing. Its premise is simple but powerful: beneath apparently ordinary lives lie private fears, memories, desires and struggles that rarely find expression. As the author observes in the preface, there are no conventional heroes or villains here, only people quietly fighting their own battles.

The collection moves through strikingly different settings. “Ninth Floor” takes us into a Gurgaon corporate office where Raj, Priya and Aman confront the anxiety of layoffs, professional stagnation and the pressure of financial responsibilities. The glass walls of the office become an apt metaphor for lives that appear transparent but remain deeply isolated.

“Prateekshalaya” shifts to a hospital waiting room, bringing strangers together through the universal experience of uncertainty. “Dhundh Mein Aadmi” explores memory and identity through Harishankar, whose gradual loss of memory raises an unsettling question: what remains when a person begins to lose the memories that define him?

The collection also enters the more intimate territories of love, loss and social restrictions. “Chandni Ki Mez Par” captures the fragile beauty of love and promises, while the long story “Ujaas” follows Ananya and Mali, whose relationship is tested by social conventions and a long separation. The story ultimately examines whether love is always granted the space and time it deserves.

Author’s greatest strength is his empathy. He finds emotional weight in everyday details, the office desk, a hospital chair, an old mirror, a forgotten plant. His prose is direct and accessible, though at times the emotional intensity is deliberately sustained for longer than necessary.

What distinguishes Parchhaiyon Ke Log is its refusal to offer easy resolutions. Its characters do not necessarily triumph; they endure, remember, lose and continue. The concluding reflection reinforces this philosophy: stories may end on the page, but their meanings continue in memory, silence and what remains unsaid.

A sensitive and relatable collection, this book invites readers to look beyond appearances, and perhaps to notice the hidden stories in the people around them.

Book Review: Os Ki Syahi Se by Vineet Kumar Mishra

Book Review: Os Ki Syahi Se by Vineet Kumar Mishra

Some books are read for their stories; others are read because they quietly recognize something within us. Os Ki Syahi Se by Vineet Kumar Mishra belongs to the latter category. Published by Bigfoot Publications in August 2026, this collection of 99 poems explores memory, love, absence, waiting, loss and the passage of time with an intimate and contemplative voice.

The title itself captures the central paradox of the collection. Dew is fleeting, while ink leaves a mark. The poems inhabit precisely this space between the temporary and the permanent; experiences that may last only moments but leave impressions that endure. The author’s preface describes these poems not as a narrative of one person or one relationship, but as an expression of subtle emotions that often remain beyond language.

Divided into six sections—including Smriti Ki Dehri, Prem Ka Vyakaran, Anupasthiti Ka Nagar, Ankahe Khat, Samay Ka Hisab and Viram Se Pehle—the collection traces the emotional journey from remembrance and love towards separation, acceptance and the possibility of moving on.

What distinguishes the author’s writing is his ability to turn ordinary details into emotional metaphors. In “Til”, a small mole remembered on the back of a neck becomes a reminder of a relationship and of how another person’s gaze can alter our understanding of ourselves. Elsewhere, absence becomes more powerful than presence: the departed person survives not physically, but through memory and imagination.

The collection is particularly strong when it avoids conventional romantic sentimentality and examines love intellectually. “Punaravritti” suggests that subsequent relationships can become attempts to recreate the first love, while “Bauddhik Avastha” presents love as something capable of reshaping thought itself.

At times, the recurring themes of longing and loss can feel deliberately familiar, but this repetition also reflects the book’s subject: memory itself revisits the same emotional ground.

Os Ki Syahi Se is ultimately less about losing someone than about learning how absence becomes part of one’s identity. It is a quiet, reflective collection for readers who understand that some goodbyes never completely become past tense.

A Book on My Chest by Hriday Arora

A Book on My Chest by Hriday Arora

Some novels entertain, while others quietly settle into the reader's heart. A Book on My Chest by Hriday Arora belongs firmly to the latter category. It is an emotionally layered coming-of-age novel that explores friendship, family, love, grief, literature, and the invisible moments that shape an ordinary life into an extraordinary story.

At the centre of the narrative is Ved, whose life revolves around his inseparable friendship with Shayan and the gradual, meaningful bond he develops with Meera. Rather than relying on dramatic twists, the novel finds beauty in everyday experiences, sharing books, watching cricket, wandering through second-hand bookstores, discussing films, drinking tea, and cherishing conversations that linger long after they end. These seemingly simple moments gradually build into a deeply moving portrait of human relationships.

One of the novel's greatest strengths is its authentic emotional honesty. Hriday Arora writes with remarkable sensitivity, allowing readers to experience the joys and vulnerabilities of his characters without sentimentality. The conversations feel natural, the friendships believable, and the emotional conflicts resonate because they emerge from ordinary life rather than exaggerated drama.

Books, cinema, music, and cricket are woven seamlessly into the narrative, enriching the characters instead of merely decorating the story. Literary references and cultural touchstones create a warm atmosphere that avid readers and lovers of storytelling will instantly recognise. The recurring visits to bookstores and discussions about favourite novels become symbols of growth, companionship, and healing.

The author's prose is gentle, reflective, and immersive. Each chapter unfolds like a memory, encouraging readers to slow down and appreciate life's quieter emotions. While the pacing is deliberately measured, it complements the novel's introspective nature and allows every relationship to develop organically.

What ultimately distinguishes A Book on My Chest is its celebration of kindness, loyalty, and emotional connection in a world often dominated by haste and distraction. It reminds readers that the strongest relationships are built not through grand gestures but through countless small acts of care and understanding.

Heartfelt, nostalgic, and profoundly humane, A Book on My Chest is a memorable literary debut that will appeal to readers who enjoy character-driven fiction and emotionally rich storytelling. It is a novel that invites reflection long after the final page is turned and leaves behind the comforting reminder that stories, and the people who share them, can become our greatest companions.
