RRB NTPC UG CBT 1 result declared, scorecard from August 26

The Railway Recruitment Board has declared the RRB NTPC Undergraduate CBT 1 result for CEN 07/2025.

The exam was held between May 7 and June 20, 2026, and results have so far been released zone-wise for regions including Gorakhpur, Siliguri, Bilaspur, Ahmedabad and Muzaffarpur.

Category-wise minimum qualifying marks, before normalisation, are set at 40% for UR and EWS candidates, 30% for OBC and SC candidates, and 25% for ST candidates.

Separate qualifying marks have also been specified for Ex-Servicemen and PwBD categories in the official cut-off document.

Individual scorecards for candidates will be made available from 5 PM on August 26, 2026, through the respective regional RRB websites.

Candidates who qualify in the CBT 1 result will proceed to the second stage Computer-Based Test, CBT 2, which is tentatively scheduled for September 17, 2026.

The undergraduate CEN 07/2025 recruitment drive was conducted for various non-technical popular categories in Indian Railways, drawing a large number of applicants across the country.

Candidates are advised to download their zone-wise result PDF from the official RRB regional website corresponding to the zone they applied under, since results are not consolidated into a single national list.

The CBT 1 stage functions as a screening test, with a significantly larger pool of qualifiers moving on to CBT 2, which carries more weight in the final selection process.

NTPC posts cover a range of non-technical roles across Indian Railways’ zonal divisions, making this one of the most widely watched recruitment cycles for candidates seeking stable government employment.

Candidates who do not find their zone’s result live yet have been advised to keep checking the official RRB websites over the coming days as the remaining zone-wise lists are released.

The Railway Recruitment Board conducts these exams across multiple zones simultaneously, a scale that makes NTPC one of the largest recruitment drives run by any central government body each cycle.
